Does the bank match the books?
Drop in two files for one bank account: the bank’s transactions and your books’ activity for the same dates. You’ll see what matched, what’s still outstanding, and what the bank shows that was never recorded.
Runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, stored or tracked; this page has no analytics.
Step 1 · The bank
Bank transactions (CSV)
From your bank’s website: download the account’s transactions for the month as CSV.
Step 2 · The books
Books activity (CSV)
In AppFolio: run the Bank Account Activity report for the same account and dates, and export it as CSV. Other systems: the cash account’s register or ledger.
Step 3 · Optional
Tie the statement
Add the bank statement’s ending balance and the books’ balance on the same date to see whether it ties.
Result
That was one account, one month
Xovion Books does this every night. Every account.
It also records the fixes as drafts for your team to approve, catches duplicate bills, proves the deposit account and closes the month.
This check matches exact amounts with close dates, voided-and-reissued checks, and batches where only one combination adds up. Anything it can’t be sure of is left for you to look at. It is a starting point, not an audit. Xovion Books is not affiliated with AppFolio.
